COL Benitez has returned from two recent deployments to the Middle East and from ARNORTH, serving as Chief of Professional Services. He is now working as US Army North Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer for Tennessee.

Five Eagle Scouts summit Mount Rainier in a five-day ice climbing trek up the Kautz Glazier to the 14,410 elevation. Together, the three sons earned their Eagle Scout in Troop 8 in Asheville, NC.

Troop 846 recently celebrated their latest Eagle Scout, Gavin B, with 19 Eagle Scouts participating.

Sam created a memorial bench for his Eagle Project in honor of his grandfather. His grandfather was the Scoutmaster of Troop 281 in Silver Creek, NE, for nearly 30 years.

Genevieve passed her Eagle Board of Review fifty years to the day her grandfather passed his. She is pictured with her older brother and grandfather at her Court of Honor.

Evan Beard, son of David Beard and grandson of Douglas Beard was recently honored at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor. This is three generations of Eagle Scouts.

LTC Rich Cassem retired from the U.S. Army and now serves as the Senior Army Instructor for Shikellamy School District in Sunbury and Northumberland, Pennsylvania.
